Ethics Compliance Summary
Platform Purpose:
Wrk Receipts is a documentation tool that helps employees log what happens at work and, at their discretion, view or connect with various support services, including but not limited to attorneys. We are not a lawyer referral service and do not endorse or assign legal counsel.
Key Compliance Safeguards
User-Driven Connections Only
Attorneys cannot message or identify users before consent.
Users must explicitly accept a connection request before chat opens.
All attorney outreach is user-initiated or user-approved.
Credit-Based Access System
Attorneys must use limited credits to request user contact.
Credit use is capped and monitored to prevent mass outreach.
No pay-per-lead or commission structure exists—credits are used to review logs and request contact only.
Anonymized Data Viewing
Lawyers see only anonymized summaries and user logs (no names, emails, or identifying info).
Users’ contact information is never shared until they grant permission.
No Matching, No Endorsements
Wrk Receipts does not algorithmically match users to attorneys.
Attorney profiles are not ranked or prioritized by payment.
The platform includes disclaimers:
“Wrk Receipts does not endorse or recommend any specific attorney.”
Consent Logging + Audit Trail
Every interaction is logged:
Attorney request
User consent timestamp
Chat initiation (if accepted)
This creates a clear, auditable record of user control.
